Tigress Moves Alert: Tiwa Savage Partners with MAC on New Lipstick

Nigerian musician, Tiwa Savage has her own Mac lipstick. The musician partnered with the cosmetic giant on the launch of her own lipstick and it is named after her.

This is the first time a Nigerian is collaborating with the beauty giant and, this is the first time she is venturing into the beauty/cosmetics world.

She took to her Instagram page, to make the announcement.

“it’s been two years in the making sheesh! So happy to finally share this with my soldiers. Out online GLOBALLY in 24 hours. Red is the new nude, make sure you get yours ‘cause we selling out. The best red lip EVER”. Daiana Gonzales- an argentine based MAC National Artist is quoted saying “These bright Lipstick shades won’t go out of style and are perfect for creating protagonist lips. They’re shades that really bring out your personality.”

*Whispering* Back in the day, gist has it that Nigerian cosmetics brand, Zaron, was considering her to be an ambassador for the brand. Unfortunately, the deal did not pull through.

Fast forward to a few years later and she got to work with an international brand to create her own lipstick!!.

She joins the likes of Nicki Minaj, Selena, the late Aaliyah , Taraji P Henson, and a host of others who have all repped the brand on different occasions here.

The lipstick, "Tiwa Savage", is bright red, and it has a Matte finish. It is also flattering on all skin tones.
